Give - Advocate - Volunteer
Being involved in United Way is not only a fantastic way to help your community, but also to help yourself. There is a significant personal reward in seeing your contributions help local people and organizations that so desperately need it. More than a warm fuzzy feeling, you know you are making a difference. How can you help?
Give - When you contribute to the United Way, you help more than one person or one charity. United Way is the collective power of people working toward long-term solutions, not short-term fixes. See how to give.
We involve our donors and the community in identifying the issues and needs that are most important, and we work with partner agencies and other organizations to create a collective solution that no one agency could deliver individually.
We don't just measure results by how much money we raise. We look at the overall impact in specific areas that we've targeted and the lives and communites we have improved. See funding distribution to learn more about how we're changing lives in Fairfield County.
Advocate - There are many local, state and national issues that impact the needs of our community. Contact us to see how you can help on a local level and alse visit the national United Way site for information on how you can be involved in helping to shape national policy on charitable efforts at http://national.unitedway.org/publicpolicy/
Volunteer - The gift of time is also important to our community. The United Way of Fairfield County has numerous events and volunteer opportunities. The work is fun and rewarding and generally pretty easy too, so why not help? Select each item to learn more.
