The Income Impact Council facilitates the accountability of the community strategies related to Income such as:

• Increasing financial literacy and education level of the community
• Ensuring crisis resolution through the provision of food and emergency financial assistance
• Ensuring the community is prepared to respond to disasters and emergencies

Council members ensure the integration of that work to achieve the community outcomes outlined in "Fairfield County's Agenda for Change". Impact Council members review outcomes of funded programs as well as applications for funding on an annual basis. The Councils recommend funding allocations to the Board of Trustees. Each council member may serve up to two 3-year terms.
